Anne Guerin, the mother of three grown children, created a nanny referral agency in 1979 and called it Mothers’ Aides. In 2002, to acknowledge the growth of her business and its expanded family and home staffing services, she renamed her company Staffing Solutions @ Mothers’ Aides.
Anne is originally from Paris, France, but has lived in the U.S. since she was eight years old. She is a believer in healthy living and loves to hike, run, travel and climb mountains. In fact, in 2005 she climbed Mont Blanc in the French Alps. "I always strive to do and be the best in anything I do, and that includes my business," Anne notes. "I won’t settle for anything less than placing just the right candidate in a client’s home."

Debra brings with her more than 20 years of diversified experience working with children, families and corporate executives.
As a graduate of The University of Bridgeport with a degree in Mental Health, Debra began her journey working with mentally and physically challenged children through creative play and art therapy. She switched directions after several years and joined the business world where she was highly successful in Brand Marketing, focusing on the Hospitality industry.
Because making a difference in the lives of others has always been her dream, Debra became an educator both with Head Start and Fairfax County Public Schools. At the same time, she started her own Nanny Training and Placement agency in 1991 after experiencing a near tragedy with her own children.
Debra feels the work she does at SS@MA is important because it gives her the opportunity to work with a wonderful staff and to use her sense of intuition and integrity in finding top quality Household Staffing for the area’s most distinguished families.
Today, she is proud to be a part of SS@MA and brings to the table a wealth of knowledge and a passion to live her dream.
Debra is a mother of two teenagers and enjoys living a healthy balanced lifestyle of exercise, travel, entertaining and family.

Kristine graduated from Bentley College with a degree in Marketing.
She is an accomplished editor, published writer, and talented designer. Her positions have also included project and office management, recruiting and team building.
Kristine built and ran a successful national mentoring program for new law enforcement leaders. This rewarding experience of matching qualified leaders with individuals in need of support and training has been a natural bridge to her recruiting role at Staffing Solutions. Her compassionate, friendly, and professional work ethic ensures all candidates meet Staffing Solutions' high standards.
She has two teenage daughters, a grown step-daughter and step-son and two lovely granddaughters. She and her husband Michael recently celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary. She is an avid gardener, enjoys cooking, reading, decorating and yoga.

Nikki is the newest addition to SS@MA. Having been a summer nanny for 5 years, she understands the need for finding a great fit between family and provider and really has a passion for assisting in doing so. She loves the work she does because she gets to see the joy a provider has after being placed with a family.
Having worked in many offices, Nikki finds SS@MA to be an outstanding environment. She says, "I like working with people who really love and care about the work they do. Each day the office is filled with energy from everyone working hard to satisfy the needs and wants of families and providers."
Nikki has lived in Northern Virginia all her life. She graduated from Towson University with a degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Marketing.
Nikki is also a dance teacher at Stage Door Dance Studio in Manassas, VA. She loves working with kids and sharing her joy of dance to others

Melissa has been with SS@MA for one year, but her love of children goes back to when she was 13 years old and took her first course in Babysitting and First Aid through Red Cross. "I took care of four different families’ children then," she says, "including one infant recovering from open heart surgery."
Melissa knows how important it is to ensure a safe and fun environment for children while their parents are away from home, so she finds great satisfaction in her job.
Melissa attended Georgia Southern University where she was working towards a degree in Nutrition. Her family lives in Stafford, VA including her mother, stepfather, sister and beautiful niece and nephew. When she’s not working, she loves to spend time with her friends and family, read and go to the movies. She is an animal lover and owns two rescue cats, Wednesday and Milly.

Ann has been with SS@MA for 21 years. When her children were young, she was a child care provider in her home. Later, she served as the Director of Leewood Adult Day Care Center for ten years, doing child care for SS@MA in the evenings.
Ann loves interacting with and helping people and finds great satisfaction in her job. She says, "Our caregivers really care about children, so when I refer a caregiver I am also giving that family the security of knowing that their children will be safe and well nurtured."
Originally Ann is from Virginia Beach and is married to her husband for over 50 years. She is a proud mother of three grown daughters. In her spare time, she likes to embroider, needlepoint and crochet.
